The construction of a project of this nature will create hundreds of jobs for its operation and maintenance. Cypriots will be trained to work in this renewable and hydrogen industry of high potential.
Renewstable projects will put Cyprus at the forefront of the hydrogen innovation with the implementation of bankable projects delivering clean power, much needed to achieve a grid-friendly penetration of renewables. This will result to the development of what is known as the Hydrogen economy. Such projects will be replicated in other locations resulting thus to the generation of demand for these components of the plants that generate and use Hydrogen.
clean AND STABLE ELECTRICITy
The Renewstable projects do not emit any greenhouse gases and have no negative impact on the environment. This is because hydrogen storage runs on the water cycle a pure water steam.
After at least 20 to 30 years of operation, the solar panels and the hydrogen storage technology will be recycled. The project will be then re-powered with new components.
RESILIENCy
Renewstable projects will be built to withstand the local weather conditions. The solar plant will be built using the most advanced technology and will be tailored for the region and its special conditions. All the energy storage elements will be containerized to minimize the impact on the land.
